Fenouillèdes: Land of Mysteries and Vineyards
The Conflent is a natural region which follows the Têt valley and its tributaries, framed by three mountain ranges: the Madres massif, the Canigou massif and the Carença massif. It is the longest valley in the department, with an area of 781 km², divided into two distinct parts: lower Conflent, marked by terraced villages like Eus and Ria, as well as by rich tree crops, and Haut-Conflent, with mountainous landscapes ideal for electric mountain biking.
Conflent: Between Heaven and Earth
The Vallespir is a natural region which follows the Têt valley from its source to the town of Céret. Connecting the high peaks of the Pyrenees to the lower plain of Roussillon, Vallespir, located south of Canigou, is home to the southernmost commune of continental France, Lamanère. Green, this valley is characterized by its cork oaks, cherry trees, chestnut trees and mimosas, as well as its steep gorges and valleys.

The Pyrénées-Orientales end with the Albères mountain range. These mountains fall into the Mediterranean, forming the rocky Catalan coast. The Albères, proudly erect, naturally separate France from Spain, dominating the emblematic beaches of the coast, such as those of Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure, Port-Vendres, Banyuls and Cerbère.
